About me

Baker 6

I am a Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford, and a Tutorial Fellow in Mathematics at St Hugh’s College. I am also a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award Holder and a Leverhulme Research Fellow.

I’m a member of the Wolfson Centre for Mathematical Biology and I lead the Quantitative Developmental Biology Group, whose focus is on developing and applying mathematical and computational methodologies to further our understanding of key developmental and cell biology processes.

When I’m not trying to do sums, I love to hang out with my family, ride my bicycle, go snowboarding or to the pub!
